Backup system for disabled children

Kumari Foundation supports the Life Development Centre (LDC). This centre commences forty heavily disabled children. Because the present building is old and dark, the foundation supports the construction of a new and safe building in Sankhu, near Kathmandu.

For these children, it is very important that they have a stable environment. Because the power supply in the whole of Nepal is very unstable, it results in lights, TVs, radios, etc which at unexpected times go on and off. Because the children can’t understand what’s happening is creates intense emotions like panic and aggression.

Unica Foundation provides a power back-up system that stabilizes the power supply. As a result, the children are no longer irritated by such external disturbances.
