A total of 100 households will be provided with a solar-lamp that will run on solar-energy. This project will be conducted in cooperation with the local NGO ECCA (Environmental Camps for Conservation Awareness).
A Mass Solar Charge-system will be placed near the schools at the villages. The children will bring the lamps in the morning on their way to school. During day-time the lamps will be charged and at night they will bring light into the houses. It will stimulate the children to go to school and it will provide a safe and clean alternative for the dangerous kerosine lamps which mainly are being used by the villagers.
