Solar Electrification in the Hostel for Disabled

SERC School is a special school in Kathmandu, combining special education and rehabilitative therapies for children with disorders. As like other urban hubs of Nepal, Kathmandu is also an area hard-hit by the power cut. The students who came from difficult physical and social conditions, were also suffering a lot from the power cut. As Unica Foundation supported to install a Solar backup, this has given an opportunity to the students not only to do their homework but also help themselves with their evening moments.
