Water supply and sanitation system is not even satisfactory in Thulodhunga community. People here are poorer financially no project on WASH sector in the past was lunched to implement WASH. This community has hilly topographical feature and based on subsistence agriculture. Lack of safe drinking water facility and poor sanitation, lives of the people is quite difficult and sympathetic. People have to spend average one hour to fetch water from nearby sources and such sources are also often unsafe. The community of Thulodhunga via NRCS, Kaski came with a request to Unica Foundation if we could support for the drinking water supply project there. Now, Unica has signed the project thus came into execution. This project is based on gravity flow, where the water will be transported through underground pipe from the next hill.
