River Luchtbehandeling has joined the Unica Foundation as a bronze partner. Hence, the family business will support the activities of the foundation for the next three years, which realizes aid projects in Nepal with technical knowledge and expertise. The bronze partnership was signed last month.
As a true family business, River Luchtbehandeling has been striving for more than 30 years to achieve the highest quality in all the services they carry out. The company specializes in air treatment installations for industry, office buildings, utility construction and commercial real estate. John Veenstra is the founder of the company and followed in the footsteps of his father, who worked in the same field. River initially operated as a trading company in air ducts, but in recent years has grown into a fully-fledged air-handling company.
Reliability and availability are important values for River, which translates into long-term, strong relationships with their clients. Based on these principles, the relationship between Unica and River also became very strong during the recent years. In this time period, River was also introduced to the work of the Unica Foundation. “The environment in which we live is very important to me. We are not only on the world to do business, but we also want to contribute to a better world. We consider our support to the Unica Foundation as an excellent destination to contribute,” says John.
As a bronze partner of the Unica Foundation, River Luchtbehandeling enables the continuance of structural projects for the next three years. Of course Edwin Koers, member of the board of the Unica Foundation, is pleased with the partnership. “River Luchtbehandeling has always been very involved with the world around us and from that perspective, now also supports our foundation. It is nice that more and more parties such as River are committing themselves to the Unica Foundation for several years. That makes it easier for us to support projects even more effectively.”
