In the past (2010), the Unica Foundation realized a water supply with 210 tapping points in Tangting. Due to an additional water requirement and a reduced capacity of the original source, expansion of this system with an extra reservoir is necessary.
The following elements are being realized within this project:
- Management of the land for the construction of the project
- Construction of the infrastructure for the drinking water projects (reception room, pipeline)
- Local contribution from the local community
- Coordination with local stakeholders for project effectiveness
This adaptation / extension is made possible by the Unica Foundation in collaboration with the Nepalese Red Cross and with support from Rexcom.
