Necha Community Hospital was established in 2008 with the support of the Asian Heritage Foundation Nepal (AHFN). The objective of the hospital is to improve the health status of families by providing access to basic health services and raising awareness of general health risks and sanitation. AHFN has agreed to support the hospital by employing a doctor, building partnerships with medical institutions, facilitating fundraising activities and developing management structures etc.
Unica has supported the hospital via AHFN with a solar PV system. And, now the hospital has been shifted to its own building, we had to relocate the solar system as well. And, we supported for a drinking water project also for the hospital this time.
