The Unica Foundation was surprised with a contribution of € 2,500 this weekend. The Southern regional team of Unica in The Netherlands organized a mountain bike sponsor ride on the popular MTB tracks in the vicinity of Oosterhout, where 50 participants cycled this amount together. In addition to the donation for the projects of the Unica Foundation, the participants also experienced a pleasant and sporty MTB tour.
The organization of the trip, in the hands of the regional teams of Unica Building Projects South and Unica Building Services Oosterhout, enjoyed pleasant weather last Saturday. During one of the last beautiful autumn days of the year, dozens of cyclers had come to Oosterhout to participate in the mountain bike tour. Among them many Unica colleagues from all over the country, but also various Unica business relations who also informally confirmed the pleasant partnership with Unica by participating in the MTB tour.
Led by guides from cycling association Lolpassiebiking, the challenging MTB trail was ridden in the forests of Oosterhout in six groups. The start was at 10 am at the Unica office at De Waard in Oosterhout. Halfway the course, there was a drink and a snack for all participants. Around 1 pm all participants were safely back at Unica, where the day ended in a tasty way. The participants were allowed to take home the Unica cycling shirt and the water bottle that the mountain bikers had received at the start of the day as a memorial of the successful day.
