Photo-voltage (PV) system exists out of solar panels, batteries and a regulator. Daylight that enters the solar panel, is directly converted in electricity. The more light enters into the solar panel, the more electricity can be generated. Since energy can be stored in the batteries, the electricity can also be used after sunset.
The function of the regulator, is to ensure that the battery is not over-charged or under-charged, which would in both cases lead to shutting down of the system. From the batteries 12V (DC) becomes available, which can be converted into 220V (AC).
